Raw Material Sourcing
Ethical & Regenerative Sourcing
We collect fully mature Moso bamboo culms, golden jute fiber, fallen areca palm leaves, and natural alluvial clay from certified regenerative forests and farmer networks. This supports small-holder communities while protecting local bio-diversity.
- Harvesting mature 5-year bamboo (allows younger shoots to grow)
- Collecting 100% naturally fallen areca sheaths (never cutting trees)
- Strict fair-trade contracts guaranteeing above-market pricing for farmers
- Biological vetting of riverbed soils prior to clay sourcing
Strictly adheres to FSC forestry certification, Sedex ethical worker policies, and local environmental restoration standards.
Empowering Generations of Rural Weaver Cooperatives
We operate three modern handicraft centers in northern Bangladesh, working closely with rural female artisans. By bridging age-old weaving heritage with high-efficiency modern wood seasoning, carding, and trimming tooling, we enable steady livelihoods, reduce urban migration, and guarantee premium craft quality.
